News on two hot trends

Came across two pieces of news today, each one of them on a hot trend, although completely different.

• Flash drives have become hot over the past two years or so. Now, they are ready to challenge the hard drives. Looks like a cool idea to me, when everyone seems to appreciate the portable hard drive!
• Immigration to developed countries is a phenomenon we keep hearing about so much these days. We know it can get sleazy, but what was reported in UK was way too much!
