Simple is beautiful, even in technology
When my company gave me a cell-phone (a device that I appreciate, but am not enthusisatic about) recently, I didn't even bother to look at all the features. I just made sure I knew how to do the things I would normally need to. When I read this fantastic article on the importance of simplicity in technology, I realised why I did that. All the time, we accumulate new devices at home, we download and install cool-looking software and we become members of many snazzy Web-sites. How many do we really get hooked onto ultimately?
The article also provides a peek into what's up with the flavour of the season: the Google vs Microsoft war.
