What's in a name?

Sorry, Mr. Shakespeare, we're Indian! We like to change names of our cities, not necessarily to deny our colonial past, but atleast to score points in the political arena. The latest in the list is 'Bengaluru' -- I'd let you figure out what's the name you might actually know. If you give up, you can read the related news and also the history of the name here. We don't care if it is going to cost a lot of effort and money; we have to do what we have to do. I think this started in Kerala, but how does it matter now?
